This whole crazy
thing started around 2000, when Joe Kern was asked by a close friend
if he would be willing to do some work on his hot rod. From that
moment on a door opened to a whole new world of creativity for Joe.
In the
beginning—armed with not much more than a welder, a few hand tools
and a desire to build cool stuff—Joe built Custom Fab and Welding
from a small chassis shop stuffed into a garage in his home to the
award winning hot rod enterprise that it is today. But one thing
that will never change is our desire to build better and cooler
stuff every time we take on a new project. If you check out our
